Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the first ERC grantees conference on physical sciences entitled: “Frontier Research in Chemistry”.
This conference, supported by the European Research Council, will be organized by the Institut Charles Sadron as part of the newly created ICS conference series. The conference will be held in Strasbourg at the prestigious Council of Europe and will focus on various topics such as organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, macromolecular sciences, (bio)material sciences, etc.
24 invited lectures will be presented by ERC laureates (Starting and Advanced grants) from various European research institutes and universities (France, Germany, Israël, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands and United Kingdom).
Moreover, we have the pleasure to announce the participation of two outstanding pleanry lecturers:
Professor Jean-Marie Lehn (Chemistry Nobel Prize laureate in 1987)
Professor Ben Feringa (Nagoya Gold Medal laureate in 2013).
This ERC grantees symposium provides a unique opportunity for researchers, teachers, and students in the field of chemistry, physical science, and engineering to meet and exchange on the most recent developments in their fields.
